# Quick start

Getting ready to make your first trade with us is simple! All you need to do is connect your wallet and have some tokens ready to make your first trade (for example, some ETH tokens). Remember that for trades on the Ethereum network you’ll need some ETH in your wallet to pay for gas fees too.

So, in short, what do you need?

* A crypto wallet: MetaMask or Trust Wallet. More wallet options will be added to our platform soon.
* You need ETH in your wallet before any executing trades. If you don’t have any ETH, don’t worry you can use our new fiat widget [here](https://bitoftrade.com/fiat-exchange).
* Enthusiasm for trading! You’re all set to start trading with bitoftrade.

Read all about how to connect MetaMask with our complete guide [here](https://bitoftrade.com/blog/metamask-review-a-complete-guide-of-the-best-ethereum-wallet-by-bitoftrade).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.bitoftrade.com/for-traders/trading-platform/quick-start.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
